Dangerous disease contracted by spores entering body, usually during injury (even minor grazes). Spores present world-wide, normally in soil. Disease is specially dangerous if no emergency medical facilities nearby. Everyone should consider vaccination, particularly if travelling to remote parts. If vaccinated 10+ yrs ago, arrange a booster dose (see 'Baby & Child Care - Vaccinations' section).
